How to Care For Your New Knife:
Our knives are 100% hand forged from premium high carbon steel which results in a high carbon content blade and long lasting edge retention. High carbon Damascus steel blades will begin to form a patina (a slight color change) with use which helps to stabilize freshly forged blades and become more rust resistant overtime

The blade and handle look beautiful and it's made of quality materials. The only issue that I really have is the blade geometry. It is not really good for the slicing and dicing work in the kitchen. The geometry is more convex and makes the fine work very difficult. That may be something you'd like to address in the future. Aside from that, beautiful work.
Awesome Knife. Showed up well packaged and oiled to prevent any tarnishing from moisture in the shipping process. That was well appreciated since we had 8 inches of snow on the ground where I live. This knife will take a little care with immediate cleaning and oiling after each use, but a beautiful blade worth the love and care.
